Orthokeratology (Ortho-k)

Orthokeratology (ortho-k) contact lenses are custom designed to gently reshape the front surface of your eye, the cornea, while you sleep, providing you the freedom of clear vision during the day without any lens wear. Ortho-k lens treatment is reversible and an alternative to refractive surgery.

Myopia Management

The prevalence of myopia among children is increasing, resulting in earlier onset and higher prescription strengths. Myopia management provides solutions to address a child's nearsightedness and slow down its progression. With treatments utilizing ortho-k and other myopia control modalities, we help reduce a child's dependence on glasses and promote better visual health outcomes, allowing them to experience greater freedom and convenience in their daily lives.

Experiencing eye discomfort from prolonged computer use or contact lenses towards the day's end could indicate underlying dry eye issues, potentially impacting your overall comfort and quality of life. Arid conditions of the Arizona desert can exacerbate dry eye symptoms.

We offer innovative treatments for evaporative dry eye by addressing the root cause - meibomian gland dysfunction (MGD). These therapies apply controlled light or heat to the eyelids, improving gland function and tear film quality for lasting relief.

After an IPL session I had no discomfort. My eyes felt lubricated, comfortable, clearer vision. Later in the day is when I have dryness problems and that didn’t happen yesterday

Dr. Johnson has been fitting Ortho K for many patients for a very long time. I found her after carefully searching the valley for providers. She’s got a vast amount of certifications and professional affiliations, and is definitely the go-to doctor if you are sick of contact lenses but you don’t want eye surgery, either.
